How To Find Us

How to find us from Worcester:

From Worcester it should take about 30 minutes.

Head for Upton-on-Severn, (If you come down the A38, you will take the Right turning for Upton, go over the river Severn, and turn left at the mini island. If you come down the West side of the Severn, through Callow, you will come to the mini island and go straight over)

Go through Upton town towards Welland.

4 miles from Upton you will come to a staggered cross roads at Welland (Pheasant pub on your right), turn left.

Leaving Welland go for 1/2 mile across Castlemorton Common and just past the "Castlemorton" sign, turn Right, towards the Malvern Hills and Gullet Quarry.
(If you get to the Plume of Feathers Pub on your left you've gone too far).

After another 1/2 mile we are the only house on the Right hand side, it is made with red & blue bricks, with a balcony on the front.

Park on the common land in front of the house.

Sat Nav's normally take people past us and up into a field, so beware!

How to find us from Gloucester:

(at the M5 junction (11a) with the A417)

Follow the A417 all around the north side of Gloucester (towards "The West").

At the traffic island where the A40 splits from the A417, you should turn right following the A417 towards Maisemore, Malvern and Ledbury.

At Maisemore you will go over the River Severn (beware of Speed Cameras).

Travel for about 9 miles through the countryside, and at Staunton you will come to a mini island - Go straight over on to the B4208 towards Malvern.

After about 5 miles you will travel through at staggered crossroads (Left to Ledbury; Right to Tewkesbury) with a disused garage on your right hand side - stay on the B4208 towards Malvern and Worcester.

After about 1.5 miles the Robin Hood pub will be on your right - turn left up New Road, just before the pub.

After 1 mile you will come up onto the open Common land at a little crossroads, with a track opposite you - turn right.  (Beware Sat Nav's usually send people up the track)

Bowling Green Farm is the only house on the left, about 300 yards from the crossroads.

Park on the common land in front of the house.

From Tewkesbury:

Come up the M5 to Tewkesbury (Junction 9) - turn left toward the town centre.

Go through several traffic lights, and as you get into the town centre there is a mini island - turn right.

Go straight through the town and at another mini island - turn left and follow the A38 towards Worcester.

About 1/4 mile from the town, there is a big water works on the left hand side - turn left just after that, towards Ledbury & Hereford.  This will immediately take you over the river Severn at the Mythe bridge.

Park on the common in front of the house, and come to the house.

From Ledbury:

From Ledbury town centre we are about 10-15 minutes drive.

At the traffic lights in the centre of the town take the A449 towards Worcester.

You will go up a long hill.  At the top there is a blind left hand bend, with a fork to the right.
Turn right onto the A438 towards Eastnor and Tewkesbury.

Travel past Eastnor Castle and up and over the Malvern Hills.

As you are going down the other side of the hills you will see a green tin shack (Hollybush villiage hall) on the right hand side and a tiny crossroads.
Turn Left

You will travel along a very narrow road across the side of a hill.  Keep going and down a steep dip and up the other side (take care of cars coming the other way).

As you emerge from the wooded area you will pass Gullet Quarry car park, and go out onto the open Castlemorton Common, with spectacular views across the Severn Valley.

*Sat Navs may try to take you left up a track - Ignore this and carry on for 300 yards*

Bowling Green Farm is the only house on the left hand side, about 1/2 mile down the road from the car park.

The house is "L" shaped, made of red & blue brick, and has a balcony at the front. Park in front of the house.
